Ozz Franca's work has ranged over many subjects, but he is perhaps best know for his sensitive portraits of both historical and comtemporary American Indians.
Mr Franca's paintings hang in the collections of many prominent entertainment and political figures, and he has twice been honored by his adopted city of Los Angeles for his cultural contributions. He draws his inspiration from both cultures, and spends time each year in the United States and Brazil. Mr. Franca died in 1991.
